We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to creating a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
Greeting patients and families, answering phones, and making appointments are some of my important duties. One of my favorite tasks is updating our bulletin board with articles about acheivements and activities going on in our patients' lives. Our doctors are very caring and professional, and my teammates and I really enjoy working with them as part of the Barrer & White family !
I have three sons, two daughters, and seven grandchildren. I love spending time in Ocean City, New Jersey with my family. In my free time, I also enjoy reading and playing Words with Friends on my iPad.
Treatment Coordinator and Communications Director
Meeting new families and helping each person feel welcome and comfortable in our practice is one of my favorite parts of the day. I talk with patients and parents about orthodontics and answer their questions. It’s essential that everyone understands what goes into the making of their new smile! A fun part of my job is that I am the person who coordinates our community events and support of our patients' activities.
Spending time with my husband, daughter, who is a teacher, and son, a college student, is a priority for me. Travel, cross-stitching, yoga, walking my dog and photography are some of my outside interests.
Working with families on payment arrangements that work within their budget is a challenge that I welcome. We believe everyone deserves a beautiful, healthy smile, so we offer flexible payment options. It’s fun to see patients at the beginning of treatment and then watch their new smile appear ! Patient billing, writing new patient contracts, and ordering supplies for our business office are included in a variety of office duties that I perform.
My husband Mark and I have three children — Lindsay, Kelly, and Matt — a grandson, Cohen, and a dog named Bentley. I enjoy most sports and am a big fan of Penn State and the Dallas Cowboys.
It's very satisfiying to help our patients with their insurance questions. Policies can be hard to understand, so my focus is to verify insurance, explain coverage, and then submit the claims so that families receive their full benefit. I also answer phones and fill in at our front desk as needed.
My husband Larry and I enjoy fishing and boating. My hobbies are photography, painting- animals and landscapes, and beading jewelry. I have two daughters- the oldest daughter is a music teacher and my youngest daughter works in a doctors office. My daughters and grandchildren reside in Texas.
My job is to help patients and families navigate the path to a beautiful smile. I greet new patients; take photos and x-rays and answer questions about treamtent plans and financial options. If you have any questions be sure to ask.
My family is top on my list of priorities and I love camping with them.
Clinical Assistant and Coordinator
Spending my days interacting with our patients and families is an ever changing and interesting part of my day! I’m never sure if they’re more excited to tell us their latest news or show us how much their smile has changed. I direct patients to their seats in the treatment area and provide chairside assistance during their visits. We pride ourselves on keeping our operatory schedule running on time and flowing smoothly, and it's my job to help make that happen.
My husband Dave and I enjoy supporting our son Connor in Wilson's marching band and JROTC programs. Our youngest son Ethan's baseball schedule keeps us busy during the spring and fall . When not being "band geek" parents or cheering on Ethan's sometimes VERY long 7 inning baseball games, we all enjoy taking our 2 yellow labs, Duke (yes, for college B-ball) and Thor (for the superhero) to Blue Marsh to hike and swim. Exploring our many great state parks is always fun!
My days are surrounded by smiles. Our patients are happy to visit us, and our team members are glad to see them. Spending time with patients, and learning about their lives, while I help put their braces on, is one of the reasons I love my work. The best experience, though, is seeing a patient’s expression when the braces are removed. Those healthy, beautiful smiles are incredible!
I live with my two cats and have two daughters: one is a teacher and the other is an attorney. Babysitting for my little granddaughter Anna, is the best! I've had the privilege of vacationing around the world with my friend Bob. Ask me about my travels next time you are here !
I love coming to work and helping patients love their smiles! My favorite part of the day is interacting with the patient and getting to know more about them as I'm helping them through their treatment. You can find me working chairside with the doctors or helping taking x-rays and photos. You'll probably hear me before you see me since I'm always laughing and chatting with someone!
When not working my time is filled with raising two very active boys! From baseball to family adventures they are truly my pride and joy!
I really like interacting with our patients. Since I’m currently going through orthodontics myself, I can relate to what each of them is experiencing. As I move throughout the clinical area, sterilizing our equipment and instruments, I chat with patients and ask about their day. It’s fun watching their confidence grow as their new smiles develop.
When I’m not working, I keep busy spending time with family and friends I love soccer and traveling, and volunteering at free dental clinics for children who otherwise have no dental care.
Lab Manager and Technician
I work with my hands in our onsite lab, fabricating appliances and other custom orthodontic products. It’s essential that each item is perfect, so it works as intended and is comfortable for the patient. It’s a good feeling to know that I’m providing a key item in a patient’s smile journey. I oversee all aspects of our lab, including plasterwork.
Away from work, I love gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and reading. I like watching college football and basketball games, and enjoy spending time with my two sons and their spouses.
