Pam is our financial coordinator. Orthodontic treatment fees can be overwhelming. She understands that each family has different needs and will do her best to assist you with your financial obligation. Pam is familiar with flexible spending accounts, our various billing options and discount programs.
Fees for orthodontic treatment depend upon the complexity of the problem and the length of time required for correction. Your treatment fee will usually be determined at the initial examination appointment. In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established our financial policy as follows:
- If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.
- To fit the needs of our patients, a financial arrangement can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment.
- For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. With your permission, these services may be used automatically each month.
- In cases of serious delinquency, treatment will be placed on a maintenance level until financial arrangements are made. We will make every effort to accommodate patients with temporary difficulties.
Third party financing is available through Discovery Federal Credit Union and pre-authorization can be obtained at third-party financing. This option is helpful when choosing treatment for multiple family members or when families would like to extend payments longer than the course of treatment.

Rochelle is our insurance coordinator. Because orthodontic insurance can be very complex, we find that having insurance coordinators on staff is a valuable asset. We handle insurance billing for you to make your business with us more pleasant and look forward to making your orthodontic experience less complicated.
Not all dental policies have an orthodontic benefit. In most cases, the orthodontic benefit has a lifetime maximum. Rochelle will contact your insurance carrier prior to starting treatment to determine your estimated coverage. The estimated coverage is then deducted from your total fee and you will only be responsible for the remaining balance.
- Because orthodontic treatment commences over time, most insurance companies will pay the orthodontic benefit throughout treatment instead of all at once.
- Any troubleshooting or discrepancies with insurance payments during treatment will be handled by us so you don’t have to.
- If treatment has already begun and you obtain new dental insurance that includes an orthodontic benefit, contact us with the information. Some insurance companies will pay a portion of the benefit based upon the number of months that remain in treatment.
- Should you have any changes during treatment, please remember to contact Rochelle. Those changes that could affect your estimated orthodontic benefit include a new dental carrier, new employer or an altered lifetime maximum.
- If at some point during treatment insurance is denied or terminated, the balance will be transferred to the responsible party for payment. To contact Rochelle, click here.
